Criteria for the Award

Two companies will be awarded for their booth design at the 2025 WVC Annual Conference based on the following criteria:

  • Does it effectively promote their brand?
  • The overall aesthetic appeal: Is the booth visually engaging and eye-catching?
  • Ease of movement: Can attendees comfortably enter and navigate the booth?
  • Effective use of promotional material to enhance engagement.

How many awards will be given?

We will have two award categories. One for the best linear booth. One for the best Island booth

How will the winner be picked?

We will have a panel of three judges. Before the conference, the judges will be given a set of aisles to review. Each judge should select three booths in their aisles for each category. After lunch, the panel will get together and review the narrowed-down selections. They will collectively visit the 9 top Islands and 9 top linear booths. They will select one winner for each category based on the above mentioned criteria.

The three judges are Dr. McCurnin, Dr. McArthur, and Dr. White.

How will we promote the contest?

Email communications will be designed through Cadmium to be sent to all participating exhibitors.  

The communication will include the initial announcement and two to three follow-up emails. Items like the award and benefits of the initiative will be included.

How will we announce the award?

We will announce the winner of the awards after 4p on Monday, March 3, 2025, the first day of the Exhibit Hall.  An announcement will be made on the PA, noting the winner.  We will then proceed to the winning booths to give them the award so they can prominently display it in the booth for the remainder of the show.

We will need our Marketing team available for photos and an interview that should be posted on the VG website and social media platforms.
