Common Joint and Fracture Stabilization Procedures for the Veterinary Practitioner
This intensive, hands-on, two and a half day course is designed to equip general practice veterinarians with the knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently diagnose and surgically manage common orthopedic and joint conditions. Participants will combine focused lectures with extensive laboratory experience using sawbones and cadaver specimens. Core topics include cranial cruciate ligament rupture, medial patellar luxation, joint evaluation, fracture reduction and fixation, and femoral head ostectomy. By the end of the course, attendees will have a structured approach to orthopedic case selection, surgical planning, execution of procedures, and postoperative assessment using radiographic review.
