About the Dr. W. Bruce Wren Food Animal Incentive (FAIA) Awards

The award is designed to promote Viticus Group’s goal of educating new graduates to maintain their interest in food animal clinical practice or other related careers such as food animal clinical skills instruction or applied clinical research while providing the educational enrichment opportunities offered by Viticus Group.

About the Award

Recipients of the Dr. W. Bruce Wren Food Animal Incentive Award receive a $1,000 stipend, complimentary registration, lodging, airfare, meals, and a daily stipend to attend the 96th WVC Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, in February 18-21, 2024.

AWARD PURPOSE

The award is designed to promote Viticus Group's goal of educating new graduates to maintain their interest in food animal clinical practice or other related careers such as food animal clinical skills instruction or applied clinical research while providing the educational enrichment opportunities offered by Viticus Group.

2022 Dr. Jack Walther Bootcamp

Thank you to everyone who participated in the inaugural Dr. Jack Walther Recent Graduate Bootcamp on June 24-26, 2022! We hope you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to seeing you grow over the following 6 months under the mentorship of our Board Members.

The Jack Walther Recent Graduate Boot Camp is an interactive 3-day course for veterinarians who are 0–5 years out of school, featuring topics in feline medicine, dermatology, general surgery, and dentistry.
