Morgan Russ

Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Morgan Russ grew up in Deland, FL. While earning her bachelor's degree in Biology from Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, Dr. Russ interned and worked at the Volusia County Marine Science Center in the sea turtle hospital and education department where she fell in love with sea turtle rehab and conservation.

This was the driving force behind her decision to go to veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. While attending classes she also worked closely with the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network doing field research with juvenile foraging sea turtles. She loves conservation, rehabilitation and field research. Dr. Russ also made sure to bring her two dogs, Stella and Roxie, to St. Kitts with her.

In her spare time, she enjoys anything water related including SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and kayaking.

Now as a practicing veterinarian, she now realizes she has a love for feline medicine and end of life care.

In her spare time, she enjoys anything water related including SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. She shares her home with 2 dogs, 4 cats, and has three cows back in Deland. She has a passion for traveling and is always planning her next adventure.
