Why People Love WVC

Erin Nalley
RVT

I am thankful for the knowledge shared by peers and industry leaders on pretty much every topic imaginable. Hands down one of the best conferences I have ever been to, definitely something for everyone from lectures, to wet labs to the exhibit hall.

Virgilio Baeza
CVT

As an ER Tech, it's nice going to lectures about your department, but what's better is if you are feeling to branch out, WVC has you covered. Large Animal medicine, check. Lectures about exotic animal anesthesia, sure! New developments in oncology, you betcha! Also the amount of activities you can do to unwind and just relax is great. Most importantly, they have been one of the 1st conferences to address compassion fatigue, burn out and suicide, and have hosted numerous lectures and workshops about them.

Jackie Gravener
Veterinary Technician

2019 was my first year attending WVC. I was a Vet Tech student at the time when I attended the conference. I am now a RVT and can't wait to attend this 2022 WVC. I am specializing in Canine rehab and can't wait to talk to rehab vendors and attend anything with rehab, geriatrics, pain management, osteoarthritis and canine sport injuries. It's a great way to network with others and learn what is new. It has great resources that I can bring back to our clinic to help build a great rehab program.

Kaelyn Hall
LVT

I am so so very thankful for the amazing opportunities to further my skills in this field and to meet people to collaborate with. Some of my best friends have been met at WVC and I can't wait to see everyone in 2022.

John Weale
Veterinarian

The WVC provides the most upto-date information regarding veterinary medicine. Whether it is new treatments, new procedures, new technology, you can count on WVC providing cutting edge topics and materials answering questions for today's practitioners. This is done in a great environment with friendly, helpful people.

Wendy Koch
Retired

Many years ago, I attended a WVC Annual Conference at which I met Ann Rashmir, who manages the equine program. Ann and I had a great talk, after which she began to include scientifically trained equine behaviorists in the WVC programs. None of the other conferences do so, so I am ever so thankful I attended that conference and got to speak with Ann. The results of that conversation are a win for everyone, and Ann and the WVC are to be congratulated. Thanks!

Christa Carlos
Practice Manager

This conference allows my entire family to come together and update our education and spend time together. My husband, father, mother, myself and my sister are all in the veterinary field. My sister lives in another state so it's a great excuse for us to all come together, learn and spend quality time. As a family we are able to share a suite in our hotel and talk about the classes we are going to and go over everything that we are going to bring back to our home clinics. The quality of the content that we are being provided really makes for a great experience for us all!

Willard Jones
Relief DVM

World class instruction. Very affordable large scale continuing education. Fun location.

Jeff Herman
Veterinarian

Even after being in practice for more than 25 years, it's a great opportunity to keep abreast of new treatments, diagnostics, techniques and products. It's also a fantastic opportunity to network with vendors we don't normally get to see and to socialize with our colleagues and old classmates. Finally, it's wonderful to be able to fulfill your entire CE requirement at one time in one place.

Kirt Stueckle
Owner

The wide range of CE topics with the shuttle bus services between hotels plus the hospitality of LasVegas makes this conference a top value for my clinic.

Ruth Sobeck
Owner Veterinarian

The lecture format is very helpful, to attend blocks of related lectures without scrambling to change rooms. The lecture styles have been more conducive to learning than other conferences in my interest area (equine) that offer more practical information than academic. The speakers have been outstanding and the trade show is excellent. Each year I return home eager to try new techniques learned and use new products purchased. Finally, I enjoy reconnecting with colleagues. Being able to do it all under one (giant) roof is a plus.

Dr. Lynn McEwan
Medical Director

Keeps this 'ole vet current with latest information in medicine and surgery. I've been a regular attender since the early 80's!

Linda Hutchins
Practice Manager

t's the once a year event that revived my career and my family. I would always bring my family with me and it was our only form of vacation. We have lots of good memories from the conference
