Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) is common, and careful perioperative assessment and management is essential for good outcomes. Anesthesia can be challenging and requires several peri-operative considerations and interventions. Concurrent and related aerodigestive disorders are also critical to understand and diagnose appropriately. Led by a world-renowned soft tissue surgeon, an internal medicine specialist focused on airway disease, an anesthesiologist and experienced resident, this team will guide you through their approach to brachycephalic patients, using a case-based scenarios and proven methods, so you leave with the confidence and tools for your next pug or bulldog surgery.
