Clinical Confidence Lab: Dentistry, Abdominal Surgery, and Emergency Procedures

November 9-11, 2026

This bootcamp is designed for veterinarians 0-5 years out of veterinary school or away from the profession that wants to build confidence through hands-on training on common disease processes. This 3 day course will provide the participant with an overview and hands-on instruction in dentistry, soft tissue surgery and emergency critical care. The courses will be instructed by experts that can answer common questions and provide the training to perform the common techniques needed for day 1 general practice. Topic such as gastrotomy and gastropexy, splenectomy, cystotomy, gastrointestinal surgery including enterotomy and end-to-end resection and anastomosis will be covered. Also tooth extraction and use of dental equipment as well as life saving emergency techniques like thoractomy tube placement and tracheostomy.
